First & foremost, thank you for checking out the website! I appreciate you more than you know and I am sending you all the positive vibes as you read this.
Hi there! I'm Jane Rodriguez (she/her) and I am the founder of The New Romantics. I've had this dream of opening a romance bookstore for as long as I could remember and I've decided it's finally time to work towards that dream. I am an entrepreneur, hopeless romantic, Taylor Swift stan, living in sunny Orlando, FL.
Romance books are my true loves and I will never, ever, ever, ever, get tired of an enemies-to-lovers trope. Mix that in with some fantasy, and I am SET! My claim to fame is listening to audiobooks at 2.5x speed and being able to start a conversation with anyone I see holding a book.
I so, so, appreciate you being here and helping my dream come true. I truly want this to be a space where we get to not only celebrate romance books (and Taylor Swift), but also each other.

Hello Fellow Romance Bookworms! My name is Vanessa Granillo (she/her). I am one of the social media content creators here at The New Romantics. Valley Girl from Southern California! A few things about me: I am a Latina, I love romance, and believe we are all hopeless romantics deep in our hearts. My love for romance books started when I first discovered authors such as Sarah Dessen, Stephenie Meyer, Melissa De La Cruz, and Jenny Han!

Hi there! My name is Karen Lorraine (she/her) and I help run social media for The New Romantics! I’m from Northeast Georgia. I ended up in Florida for the Disney College Program and decided that Orlando was the place for me! My great loves in life are my dog (Lady), Taylor Swift, collecting books, and reading! (And yes, collecting books and reading them are two separate hobbies).
